Ergon London: the spot for Greek comfort food and serious specialty coffee

Kick-start your day at Ergon London with freshly brewed specialty coffee and finger-licking good Greek food, pies and snacks.

UPDATE: Ergon London has moved to a new location in Maddox Street. Read more about it in this post.

You can’t buy happiness, but Ergon London claims that with just a few bucks you can buy a really good cup of Joe and seriously delicious Greek delicacies, which is pretty much the same as happiness. In a small but very cozy joint on Regent Street, the brilliant owners Thomas and George Douzis have set up the perfect place to enjoy a proper specialty coffee.

Need a freshly brewed filter coffee, a pick-me-up flat white or even a quick Greek coffee? Add to this an extremely delicious freshly baked bougatsa (Greek custard-filled phyllo pastries), a generous slice of tyropita (feta cheese-filled pie) or spanakopita (Greek spinach-filled pie) and you have the equation to an awesome Greek-style breakfast.

Don’t forget to take a look at the stalls around the place where you will find some very interesting traditional Greek products, from olive oil and Kalamata olives to Greek wine and anchovies. Now you channel your inner Greek chef at home. Just remember it only takes one try to love them all!
